By Anonymous

BALTIMORE, MD AND HINGHAM MA JUne 3, 2004--The Right One and Together Dating Service now offer their expert relationship advice through their E-books, “A Singles Guide To Finding The Right One” available online at www.therightone.com and “Let Us Introduce You” available online at www.togetherdating.com. As the world’s largest dating service, The Right One and Together cater to more than 125,000 members at over 60 locations throughout North America.

Complimentary issues of The Right One and Together’s E-books, which are complete guides to finding Ms. or Mr. Right, can be downloaded from The Right One website, www.therightone.com and Together website at www.togetherdating.com.

Paul Falzone, CEO of The Right One and Together and author of the E-books reassures singles, “There is a special someone out there for you. Take positive steps to find that someone. You can find love at age 20, 32, 49 or older. Finding that special person that gives you what you need, takes three basic ingredients – a positive attitude, a realistic set of expectations and a willingness to give open and honest feedback. Give people a chance and the benefit of the doubt. Don’t disregard the person for superficial reasons such as how they sound on the telephone.”

He continued, “People underrate taking part in activities that interest them, when it is really the most likely place to meet other singles. If your daily routine involves getting through the workday, going straight home, microwaving a meal and catching the evening news on TV, you’re obviously not going to meet anyone. If you don’t have a hobby or interest that gets you out of the house and into ‘circulation’, you should find one. Don’t leave romance all to chance.”

Florida-Online-Dating.com Develops a Way to Measure Compatibility Making Way for More Accurate Matches as a Free Service to Their Members

By Anonymous

April 27, 2004 -- Introducing a compatibility feature to dating sites, like the way Florida-Online-Dating.com developed, is a sure way to get your moneys worth when joining an online dating site. Why read endless profiles after profiles attempting to subjectively sort out who is the right one for you? Yes, we agree, subjectivity is essential, but at least start out with a good list of compatible people from the beginning. At Florida-Online-Dating.com, members have a helpful tool. After plugging in your desired search criteria, press a button and then the website does the rest by arranging the results in order of compatibility. This way, you start reading profiles in an order that increases your chances of a better and more compatible match.

Although Florida-Online-Dating.com intends to keep their formula a secret, a technological advantage to the dating industry so helpful like this is surely bound to get the competition’s attention as they too soon may be seeking to imitate this kind of improvement. However, according to the Lead Architect of Florida-Online-Dating.com, and the President of Webby Group, the firm which owns the site, Michael Caputi has the philosophy stating, “At Florida-Online-Dating.com, we don’t mind the competition improving on a technology we introduced at our site. We are in the business of helping members find the right match. As long as we keep that our focus, we’re confident business will always do well.”

With a very single U.S.A., it’s comforting that site’s like Florida-Online-Dating.com take initiatives to bring happiness to people’s lives. It’s also satisfying to know, that the people behind these companies aren’t just in it for profit, but work hard hours developing sometimes tedious formulations to better our chances of love. Then, the best part is, they gladly bring it to your membership plan for free. Now, with a good way to measure compatibility and have personals listed in an order that makes sense, get logged in, and attempt to give fate, and maybe a little bit of binary code, a chance.

Online Dating Magazine: “Growth of Online Dating Industry Results in Competitive Battle”

By Anonymous

CARPINTERIA, CA –- The online dating industry is growing by nearly $100 million a year, resulting in a competitive battle of online dating services, where new services are popping up virtually weekly. A study by Jupiter Research found that in 2002, users spent $228 million for online dating services. By the end of 2003, that amount is projected to grow to $313 million.

“The growth of the online dating industry is phenomenal,” says Joe Tracy, publisher of Online Dating Magazine at http://www.onlinedatingmagazine.com . “The industry is so huge now that it’s hard to keep up with. We’re hearing of new services being formed on a weekly basis.”

Tracy says that some new online dating services are trying to become extremely targeted in dating categories, in order to get a piece of the pie.

“There are online dating sites now dedicated specifically to cat lovers, dog lovers, vegetarians, and even specific religions,” says Tracy. “Companies like USA Interactive, which runs Match.com, are trying to stay competitive not only by introducing new services, but also by gobbling up smaller dating sites.”

In April 2003, USA Interactive acquired dating services Udate and Kiss to add to its online dating portfolio.

“I think people would be surprised at how many dating services are run by one company,” continues Tracy. “For example, MatchNet runs 10 online dating services, including American Singles. It’s obvious that there’s still a lot of money to be made in this industry.”

According to MarketRange, most people using online dating services “are between the ages of 20 and 45 years old. They are professionals and non-professionals alike and have a wide range of interests and tastes. A wide range of these users are highly educated and fall into the upper levels of average household income.”

Online dating is one of the fastest growing segments of the Internet. Services that don’t evolve and take user suggestions seriously may easily find a new dating service taking a slice of their pie.

As the online dating industry grows, users need to also be alert to the dangers and scams. Online Dating Magazine has come across several scams from people posting profiles in an attempt to get you to give them your email address so they can SPAM you. Other people post fake photos and profiles from other countries in an attempt to form a “relationship” with the user then ask them for money to “visit”.

Online Dating Magazine cautions users to always be guarded in their online dating adventures. As the industry becomes more accepted as a viable means to find that special someone, there are always those who will use it for unscrupulous purposes.

“When used right, online dating is an amazing way to meet quality individuals that a person would never be able to find on their own,” says Tracy. “Even I’ve met nine people from online dating and they’ve all been really neat people. It’s nice to see that online dating has become a mainstream way to eventually find a more compatible soul mate.”
